We are very excited to get everyone involved in a fourth grade blog! Our goal is to have everyone start posting book recommendations by the end of October. Just let everyone know what you liked about the book you read. Share parts of the book that you think would get your classmates excited to read your recommended book. I like "The Dragon of Doom" by Bruce Coville because it has some action, but not too much action. The book is mostly fantasy. The author has written alot of books-check them out!! Dr. FuFu
Junie B. First Grader Shipwrecked is a funny book. One of the silly parts is when a boy in her class named Roger pukes and all the students plug their noses. They don't want to breathe Roger's germs. Junie B. and her class do a play about Christopher Columbus. Read the book yourself and find out what happens!
I like the book "The Thief Lord" by Cornelia Funke. It is about brothers who escape from their unkind aunt and uncle. Thay go to Venice because it was their mother's favorite place in the world. They meet a group of pick pockets and become their friends. They live in a run down movie theater called "The Stella". It has a touch of fantasy and alot of adventure.
I read the book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl and I loved it. It was really funny. My favorite part was when Veruca Salt went into the nut room with the squirrels. In the beginning of the book it made my mouth water and want chocolate. I would definitely recommend this book!
I read a book called "Lunch money" It is a good book! It is about a boy named Greg who makes comic book thats all I am going to tell you. so you should read it. The author is Andrew Clements who wrote Frindle.
I recommend the bookbig red by jim kjelgaard. This is a fun story about a boyand his dog thay face danger,adventure andhave loyal friendship. If you are a hunter you will love this book.
I read the book The Legend of Thonderfoot. I think it is an amazing book about a roadrunner named Thunderfoot who meets great friends throught the story. the book has lots of action and recomend this book.
I read the book series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It is a great book about a boy who learns about his fathers haritige and descovers something he never knew about himself
I like the book "From the mixed-up files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler." The author is E. L. Konigsburg. Two kids named Claudia and Jamie hide in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, New York. Because people think that Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler sold the statue "Angel" ( Which people weren't sure whether if it was made by Michelangelo or not) for $225.00 at an auction, the siblings go to Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler's house to find out the truth. Read the book to find out what happens next!
"Junie B. JonesS" are great siries! they are realy funny. the one I reccomend is "Junie B. first grader (at last)" beacause it is just so cool, like... she calls her new teacher Mr.Scary and all of these other things happen to her and her friends!
I like "The Legned of the Sleeping Bear". It is about the legend of sleeping bear dunes. The plot is: a fire starts in a HUGE forest and a mother and her cubs atempt to swim from one side of Michigan Lake to the other. they might make it or they might NOT! You'll have to read it to find out!
I think a realy great book is "Double fudge" beacause it is realy humorous. It is about a boy and is little brother Fudge. Fudge and his brother don't get along well, but Fudge is always asking his brother ?'s.
I just read a cool book called, 'Vampire State Building'. It's about eleven-year-old Sam Bamford playing online chess with his online pal, Vlad Cinciu, who is from Romania. Sometimes, some people think that Vlad is a vampire! LEGO Man.
I just read the book Emily's Runaway Imagination. I would recommend this book. It's about a girl named Emily Bartlet. Join her as she has some crazy adventures!
I read a book called "Soupy Saturdays with the pain and the great one" One of the reasons I liked this book is because it reminded me of my life because some times my brothers are a pain and I am the great one! It is a quick and easy read for me. I read It in about one day. I liked the part where the pain and the great one went to get a hair cut and.....

I just finished The Kingdom keepers, it was a great and exciting book, the kingdom keepers had adventure, mystery, and a little of fantasy. I'll give you a little information about the book, it's about Walt Disney World.

My mom and I read a book called "Craxy Fish". It was really a great story. It is about a girl named Joyce and she lives by the city dump. Her dad who is really her Uncle runs the dump and she helps out. The kids at school call her the Dump Queen. There is a new janitor at her school. Their friendship helps Joyce become a better person. She learns to feel better about herself and speak up to mean kids. It is a really great story. A very funny and heart warming story. Atlanta
I think High School Musical 2" is good because at East high when the bell rings the whole school burst out of the classrooms. After that the summer begins. Troy and his friends all need summer jobs. Sharpay wants Troy to work at Lava springs. Then Mr.Fulton called Troy and asked if he needed a job and He got a job at Lava springs. He and his friends work in the kitchen and Gabriella works as the lifeguard. Hope you read it.
I highly recommend "The Lost Jewels of Nabooti." It's a book by R.A.Montgomery. I liked it because you're the one who chooses what happens next, not the author.
I liked "The Terrible Mr. Twitmeyer" by Moore and Adelson because it was about dogs, secrets, and action. Mr. Twitmeyer is a dog catcher and you think he's really mean, BUT.... you have to read the book!!! Happy Holidays!! Dr. FuFu

I read a book called "The Fire Within". If you like dragons and mysterys, you should read this book! David is a tenant that stays at a strange house for college. Liz,(the house owner) makes clay dragons and one of them helps David write a book about squirrles for Lucy(Liz's daughter). Strange things happen in the house, and David thinks the dragons are coming alive! The book is by Chris D'Lacey. I highly recommend this book, and now I'm reading "Icefire",the next book in the series.
I really like the book "The Looking Glass Wars." If you forgot, the main character is Princess Alyss. Alyss, surprisingly, does not kill her aunt Redd at all. However, Alyss' powers are strengthened. If you want to know what happened, please do NOT ask me; READ THE BOOK!
I like the book "The Invisible Man" by H.G.Wells. It is about a man who is a scientist and discovers a mysterious formula that does strange things to people. And in the end... you'll have to see for your self.
I enjoyed the book "The Fairies of Nutfolk Wood". Although it wasn't the greatest book that I've read, it was about Willa moving with her mom to Wicket Road. Strange things have happened to her since her arrival, and it includes seeing imaginitive fairies. If you like fiction, then read this book!

I devoured the book "The Good Dog". It's about McKinley the malamute, a head dog of Steamboat Spings. But everything changes when he meets Lupin the wolf. She's perswading the dogs to join her shrinking pack. Will McKinley stay with his loyal owners-or will he live free in the wilderness with Lupin? To find out, read "The Good Dog" by Avi.
The book "InterWorld" is a exiting book it kept me on the edge of my seat I wanted to read it so much. It is a great adventure book and a interesting book it is hard to keep up with but it comes back to you at the end.

I think the "Harry Potter" series, if you like action packed stories with adventure these books are good for you and they always have a happy ending in some way.

I red some The Nancy Drew mystery books,and They are full of adventures and spooky mysterys read! Nancy and her friends discover all sorts of mysterys and adventures for everyone to enjoy!
I like the book "Seeing Redd". It has a lot of violence but it is also kind of romantic. I personally think that Frank Beddor should have said "Beware, Redd is here" in the beginning. Anyway, it is a very interesting book.
P.S. Homburg Molly's father's name rhymes with "matter fladigan" and her mother's name rhymes with "heaver".
I think that "Ella Enchanted" is a good book because Ella is under a curse by a fairy. Ella has to be careful. Her mother died and soon she has two stepsisters Hattie and Olive. Her stepmother is mean to Ella.
